Adrian BannonBorn in England in 1959, Adrian Bannon works in the conceptual tradition of the Italian Arte Povera movement, making poetic and expressive use of everyday materials and natural processes. He has had three solo exhibitions at England & Co, and his Thistledown Coat was featured in Addressing the Century: 100 Years of Art & Fashion at the Hayward Gallery, London, and the Kunstmuseum Wolfberg, Germany (1999), and in the French Government Millennium Exhibition, La Beaute, Avignon, France (2000). His series, My Clothes as They Should Be was installed in at England & Co in the 2005 exhibition After a Fashion. An archive selection of works exhibited at England & Co are reproduced here.
