Shane Bradford

Shane Bradford is a British painter (born 1971) who is particularly known for objects that span painting and sculpture: selected objects are dipped into gloss paint in a process of precise sequences. These dipped objects (often books) are usually appended by his trademark solid drips of thick paint.

Bradford won the Celeste Art Prize (2007) for Moths, from a series of wall installations made with dipped objects attached to darts. Moths featured in England & Co's exhibition Is there anybody out there? (2008). Bradford has exhibited widely in Britain, Europe and the USA. Constructions & mixed media   Paintings
