William Pye

William Pye was born in London in 1938. Today, he is known internationally for his innovative sculpture with water, however England & Co's exhibition is focused on the early works of the 1960s and 1970s that first established his reputation. His concentration on mainly large-scale public commissions has meant he has had no consistent gallery presence since a major retrospective in 1978 at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

These pages show a selection of works from the exhibition William Pye: Works from the 1960s & 1970s.
